Job Description
My client is highly successful, relatively small construction contractor based in Gloucester. They work on a variety of public/private sector projects. They currently have framework agreements in place with local council which are lasting for 10 years, so a great opportunity for long term progression and to join an ever growing team.
They work on residential and commercial projects and get involved with new build, refurbishments, extensions, renovations, conversions and maintenance. Examples of projects are village halls, community centres, hospitals etc. Project sizes are between £100k – £1m and their turnover was around £3m last year.
The successful Quantity Surveyor will be based from offices in Gloucester with site visits needed as required.
The successful candidate will be:
- Heading up the surveying department for the company
- Have knowledge of NEC/JCT contracts
- Public / private sector experience
- Experience of working on a mixture of commercial and residential projects
- 10 years Quantity Surveying experience
Previous experience performing such duties is a mandatory requirement for consideration for this role.
There will be bonuses/incentives for picking up new clients/work.
