The Quantity Surveyor Role
The successful Quantity Surveyor will become part of a robust team of 12 professionals engaged in a wide spectrum of projects, including commercial offices, large masterplanning schemes, residential, and industrial developments, all of which are at various stages of progress.
The incoming Quantity Surveyor will benefit from extensive support for their professional growth, which includes, but is not limited to, APC (Assessment of Professional Competence) assistance from Chartered senior professionals and a clearly defined career advancement pathway.
This position offers autonomy, in line with the Directors’ “no micromanagement policy.” It provides a flexible work environment, hybrid work options, adaptable start and finish times, and day-to-day independence.
The Quantity Surveyor
Experience:
- Possession of an RICS accredited degree qualification
- Previous experience as a PQS (Professional Quantity Surveyor) within a UK construction consultancy
- Strong background in both pre and post contract activities
- MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) qualification or a clear commitment to achieving it
- Experience in the Property or Building sector
