Description of Role:
The Project Manager is responsible for managing implementation projects, using their Iken knowledge to deliver consultancy, training, and services throughout the client project. Some consultancy, implementations and upgrades take place on client sites and you will be expected to work away from home from time to time.
The Project Manager is the main point of contact for client project managers and end users, taking the project from the point of sale all the way through to passing the client to Support and Account Management, providing professional and competent delivery.
Responsible for:
- Ownership of all projects assigned to you, including project management, consultancy and training delivered remotely or on-site, dependent on client needs
- Contribute to the production of up-to-date, accurate and informative user and technical documentation
- Feedback of client recommendations and issues to ensure they are included in delivery/roadmap requirements
Primary Objectives:
- Professionally and effectively manage all aspects of assigned projects, bringing in additional resources where required
- Creating project plans for each project assigned to you, ensuring all project plans are signed off by clients and accessible for other members of the Projects team
- Managing the scope of projects in line with time, budget, and expectation requirements, feeding back issues to the appropriate person when necessary
- Work with clients to consult on the mapping of their data and processes to Iken, providing knowledge of processes and features to suggests improvements.
- Feedback client recommendations for software improvements and requirements to the Product Road Map
- Provide training to clients for Iken Cloud and Iken Desktop
- Maintaining and reviewing client incident and issues logs, feeding back into the Client Care Review Process
- Iken software and systems successfully implemented with clear ROI for clients
- Provide immediate support to clients and ad hoc support for the office

- Project Days delivered against target
- 90% of projects are green at the end of the project delivery
- 90% of projects <= number of days quoted
- 90% of projects referenceable and quotable
- 90% Client Satisfaction Rate
- 8-9 Billable days per month
Skills and Experience:
- 2+ years of relevant Project Management experience
- Excellent standard of written and spoken English
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commercial awareness, business analysis and consultancy skills
- Process mapping and Project Management techniques
- Knowledge of SQL is desirable but not essential
- Strong investigative and analytical skills
- Experience of training others or ability to convey a concept or process effectively
