The Company

Due to continued growth and success, this international law firmhas an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join them. This award-winning firm is known for being welcoming and supportive of their employees – business services and lawyers / trainees alike. Known for being international legal experts in sectors such as digital business, energy, financial services, life sciences, real estate, retail and more, they have represented many household names. Having also won an award for Best Law Firm for Legal Tech, we are now delighted to support the recruitment of a Project Manager to be involved with delivering a number of strategic or operational projects.

Key Responsibilities of the Project Manager

  • Defining project scope, goals and deliverables that support the business in achieving their desired business outcomes
  • Developing and managing integrated project plans, including the identification and management of inter-dependencies and the critical path
  • Delivering progress reports, proposals, and presentations to ensure that key governance forums and stakeholders are able to make effective decisions, in a timely manner and that critical risks and issues are escalated as appropriate
  • Embedding a focus on benefits management and the delivery of associated business outcomes
  • Proactively identifying and managing project risks
  • Conducting project wash-ups and creating recommendations reports in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
  • Drafting and submitting business cases, taking into consideration the holistic people, process and technology change required to deliver on the desired strategic goals & business outcomes

  • A focus on delivering tangible business outcomes, with a clear view for how change fits in to the broader business agenda
  • Technical expertise in project management
  • A full and complete understanding of the technical project life cycle to facilitate the tangible delivery of business benefits and outcomes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication allied with proven client relationship and stakeholder management skills
  • Persuasive, encouraging and motivating with strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills
  • The ability to work autonomously and to schedule own resource appropriately, whilst playing an active and constructive part in the team
