We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Technician to join a team in NW London. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our valued business customers, covering the London and South East region.
What you’ll be doing:
- Responding to service calls and diagnosing, repairing, and reporting on faults on industrial electrical equipment
- Identifying and reporting on machine and installation conditions, providing recommendations for improvement
- Checking and commissioning equipment installations to ensure optimal performance
- Carrying out basic installations of equipment and systems
- Preparing and testing ex-rental equipment for delivery to customers
- Conducting routine maintenance visits to check equipment and identify potential issues
- Maintaining van stock control and updating inventory on systems
What we’re looking for:
- Mechanical and electrical experience
- Proficient in reading electrical schematics
- A strong technical aptitude, problem-solving and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A valid, clean UK driver’s license
- A commitment to providing exceptional customer service
