Head of Facilities Management | Food retail | London | £70k – £80k
Zachary Daniels are excited to be once again partnering with an amazing global business who have exciting growth plans. We are seeking a driven and passionate Head of Facilities Management to ensure that all UK premises, building, assets and equipment comply with Health and Safety requirements and all local legislation.
The ideal candidate will be a natural leader, be self-motivated and hands-on with previous exposure at working as a Head of Facilities Management, working within an FMCG / Food / Drinks environment.
Please note, this role will require the successful candidate to be based on site in UK Head Office as well as visiting various sites, mainly in London.
The role as Head of Facilities Management:
- Managing delivery of services to ensure that maintenance and facilities spend remains within budget
- Formulating preventative maintenance schedules for the safe, efficient, and effective operation of restaurant facilities, including but not limited to life safety systems, cooking equipment, HVAC, plumbing, electrical circuits, and refrigeration
- Building, nurturing and developing strong relationships with maintenance and service providers
- Conduct supplier performance reviews including service quality audits
- Identifying specific issues which contribute to higher costs and communicating these issues to the COO
- Partnering with the wider global team to ensure that restaurant operators possess all the relevant facility related procedures and training tools to ensure confident and compliant execution at the restaurant level
- Managing purchase orders and approvals of FM related invoices
- Ensure compliance with brand standards and specifications for all new and existing restaurants
- Completing regular health, safety and environmental audits of the site, evaluating practices, procedures and facilities to assess risk and adherence to the law
The ideal Head of Facilities Management candidate will have:
- Proven management experience of working within a senior level Head Of Facilities Management role
- Food / restaurant experience is desirable
- Health & Safety experience within food retail – NEBOSH or IOSH is desirable
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and maintenance procedures.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency in maintaining operational budgets and resource management.
Head of Facilities Management package:
- The salary offered is between £70k – £80k
