Their future project demands are thriving; thus, they wish to appoint a Graduate Civil Engineer to join their London office.
Requirements
BEng or MEng or equivalent degree in Civil Engineering or similar, must be JBM accredited
Strong written and verbal communication skills
A confident self-motived team player who is happy to speak up
Excellent organisation and time management
Basic understanding of relevant software such as AutoCAD 2D Drafting, Civil 3D, MicroDrainage. There will be plenty of support to develop these capabilities!
The Role
Engage and further your knowledge of relevant Acts including Highways, Water Industry and Drainage Acts productively
Actively participate in developing your skills and expertise with the aid of senior mentors, ensuring you maintain expectation and requirements of graduate membership to the ICE (Institute of Civil Engineers)
Assemble analysis, design calculations, reports and drawings under the supervision of a senior engineer
Be present at required meetings with clients and other professionals
Assist senior engineer in project design up to completion
Tackle site inspections and investigations to identify any issues and suggest solutions with aid of senior staff
Uphold quality and accuracy standards
