Company Info

Our clients are a long-established Brighton property firm with a respected and revered Professional
Services Department that provides accurate and detailed valuation advice their customers. All
surveyors are RICS registered, with expertise in property law and excellent knowledge of the county
of Sussex and surrounding area.
Job Purpose

We are looking for an agent who is self-motivated with good communication skills. You must be
capable of working independently and as part of a team.
The main purpose of the role is to generate new & repeat business to increase the company agency
business, primarily in Bognor Regis, Chichester and surrounding areas. You should have commercial
leasing/agency experience and a good understanding of commercial leases and their structure.
If you are looking to gain the RICS qualification assistance will be given.
Hours:
 Monday to Friday 09:00 – 5:30 with 1 hr lunch break (37.5hrs)
 Additional hours maybe required depending on the needs of the business
Position summary
Key responsibilities for this role include but not are not limited to:
 Generate new business and conduct market appraisals.
 Provide a first-class service dealing with enquiries to the office, phone enquiries and email
applications and ensuring correct procedures are followed
 Provide a regular applicant management service
 Carry out viewings – planning diary efficiently, managing applicants, organising keys, safety
etc
 Negotiate terms and offers
 Compliance with the Money Laundering Regulations 2017, as amended.
 Dealing with an instruction from confirmation to completion.
 To for opportunities to pass business onto other departments within the group.
 Production of and sending out e-details
 Marketing to include social media, e-mailing, boards etc.
 To keep property software databases on applicants, clients and transactions.
 Assist in creating systems to improve service delivery and ensure compliance standards are
not compromised
 Keeping updated with legal & planning legislative changes

 Use of a pool car for company business as described above
 Attend any relevant training courses that are appropriate to the job title and specification
 To follow the department Service Standards
