CIVIL ENGINEER
Location: Manchester
Salary: £40-£45k
An experienced Civil Engineer is required for our client to work out of their office based in Manchester. Our client specialises in Civil Engineering and have been established for over 50 years.
They are a fast growing, ambitious company offering Project Management, demolition, civil engineering including groundworks, foundations, drainage and utilities landscaping and basements.
Ideally, the successful candidate will have experience using Civils 3D and MicroDrainage

Civil Engineering Position Overview
Prepare mark up for pricing purposes of proposed drainage, utilities, excavation, retaining structures, access, general civil work
Carry out site visits surveys and inspections
Sequencing of concrete pours
Managing and issuing drawings for construction at in the office and site level
Completing site audits and inspections
Preparing design calculations, drawings and reports where necessary
Review drawings prepared by the cad team
Liaise with contractors, clients, team and directors
Overseeing, coordinating, and managing all completions
Check construction meets the requirements of the design
Technical coordination of commissioning
Civil Engineering Position Requirements
Clean driving licence
UK Experience
Civil Engineering Degree and/or master’s degree
Relevant Experience in the Civil Engineering and Construction industry
Must be able to work with Civils 3D and MicroDrainage software
Confident working under minimum supervision and competent to check the work of others and supervise less experienced or junior staff
