Job Description
As a Civil Engineer, you will provide innovative solutions to renew and maintain Northumbrian Water’s dam and reservoir asset base. You will join a multidisciplinary team of engineers and construction specialists; preparing studies, calculations and civil engineering designs; producing technical and commercial specifications, drawings and schedules.
You will be involved in the full project lifecycle (investigation, outline and detailed design, construction support, completion), and will represent MMB in technical meetings with our clients. Furthermore, you will support the work of more junior staff, providing technical and professional guidance to assist their development, as you will receive such support from senior members of the team.
Candidate Specification
Chartered member of the Institution of Civil Engineers, or pursuing Chartered status
Professional experience of dam and reservoir engineering
Experience of working in multidisciplinary teams
Experience of managing clients and other project stakeholders
Proactive approach, with an ability to adapt to changing scenarios
