Job Description
Your tasks as a Civil Engineer:
- Responsible for all civil related activities in a project in all project phases (development, establishment, and realisation)
- Coordination of all civil related engineering activities.
- Responsible for civil interfaces and interfaces to other disciplines.
- Coordination of preparation of civil related engineering deliverables.
- Contribution to preparation/review of other key documents.
- Contribution to permit preparation.
- Managing of site preparation, demolition and soil decontamination works.
- Supporting of procurement process with preparation of ITT parts and evaluation of bids and participation in negotiations.
- Responsible for the contract related review of civil engineering documents.
- Steering of external engineering partners (structural engineer, fire protection, noise expert, HVAC, soil investigation expert etc.).
- manage internal and external stakeholders.
- responsible for the adjustment of applicable quality standards to the specific project.
- support quality, site management, commissioning, HSSE, cost estimation, scheduling, and HSSE-in Design with civil expertise.
In this role, you report to the Engineering Manager within a project and to the Line Manager Discipline Engineering.
YOUR PROFILE
Our ideal candidate has a relevant University degree civil engineering or architecture.
You can speak and write in English.
Your personal characteristics and competences:
- At least 5 years of professional experience in the field of Engineering, Procurement and Construction of industrial buildings..
- Your professional skills include a sound knowledge of civil engineering, permitting and realisation of power and heat generation plants and/or process engineering plants and/or industrial buildings and all related expert workstreams (structural engineer, fire protection, noise expert, HVAC, soil investigation expert,…)
