Business Development Manager – South

My exclusive client is a leading provider of innovative services and solutions to the automotive sector and is new seeking a high performing new business focused Business Development Manager to lead the development of their high-profile proposition across the South of England.
This is a high-profile role within an extremely well known business brand and the first time they have sought to appoint a dedicated field-based Business Development Manager. You will be responsible for developing corporate clients and developing their innovative proposition with includes services for Fleet management, Contract hire and a unique SaaS offering.
Key responsibilities include:
- Achieve sales targets and product penetration objectives
- Tailor solutions for clients appropriately to ensure client expectations are met
- Ensure all agreed solutions for clients are pre-approved internally with all relevant stakeholders
- Managing existing customer accounts and engaging with lapsed clients
- Develop a pipeline of potential new client business and manage pipeline effectively
- Networking with target clients and buying groups
- Achieve client appointment meeting objectives
Candidates with the following experience are invites to apply:
- Knowledge and understanding of the corporate fleet landscape within Scotland
- Strong new business sales experience and direct experience of selling fleet solutions or related B2B auto industry services (FS, Security, Warranty solutions etc)
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills
- Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and consultative selling skills
- Full UK drivers’ licence
- Flexible with the ability travel across the South of England day to day for client appointments when applicable
