The Building Surveyor’s role

In your role as a Building Surveyor, you will assume various responsibilities. These encompass contract administration, conducting planned maintenance surveys, performing condition surveys, handling party wall matters, and overseeing project management.

The accomplished Building Surveyor will function within a dynamic and industrious work environment. Here, you will diligently execute a comprehensive array of building surveying tasks, primarily serving residential and commercial clients.

What the successful Building Surveyor should possess:

  • MRICS qualification (ideally, with a minimum of 6 months post-qualification experience)
  • Preferably, a BSc or MSc in Building Surveying or an RICS accredited degree
  • Over 2 years of experience in building consultancy
  • Proficiency in communication, both written and verbal
  • Strong grasp of condition surveys and party wall matters
  • Excellent written skills
  • Effective problem-solving abilities
  • Capability to handle a diverse range of assignments
