Role – Building Surveyor
Salary – £28,000 – £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Type – Permanent
Location – London
My client are seeking a forward-thinking Building Surveyor or Draughtsman’s on a permanent basis in London to join their close-knit yet expanding team. This is a great opportunity for an Assistant Building surveyor to join a growing successful practice with well-established links to many clients that has been developed over the last ten years.
The Building Surveyor will ideally have the following attributes:
- MSc/BSc in Building Surveying
- 3-5 years’ experience working on residential projects
- Previous experience in Building, construction, civil or structural engineering and design
- Wealth of construction knowledge
- Proficient in using AutoCAD and Vectorworks
- Holds a RICS Accredited Degree in Building Surveying
- Ideally Chartered Building Surveyor (not essential)
The Building Surveyor role will involve:
- To work closely and flexibly with other staff in delivering high quality maintenance service to our external and internal customers
- To provide regular and professional communication and liaison with customers and key stakeholders in relation to works instructed and managed by the service.
- To carry out pre-inspections and building surveys to identify defects, including the preparation of detailed reports, specifications, and cost estimates where necessary.
