Our client are seeking a talented Architect to join their well established and award winning multi-disciplinary practice in Leeds City Centre. The successful Architect will work within a collaborative team environment from initial concept to completion on large-scale, complex projects across a number of different sectors.
This is an exciting opportunity for a creative, design led Architect 3 years + experience. The most successful Architect should also have strong 3D modelling skills utilising Autodesk Revit. Our client are looking for an Architect that can demonstrate experience working within a variety of residential typologies and wider commercial experience, along with a practical understanding and passion for sustainability. The successful Architect will have the opportunity to work on projects with a high level of design collaboration with senior team members. Our client encourages an open design dialogue and participation amongst all the team members to create a fluid and collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will be able to take a lead in executing designs for key clients through early-stage design work from inception to completion, reporting directly to senior management.
The successful Architect will be a design led architect, who can think strategically and has the ambition, drive and ability to successfully deliver high quality, innovative design ideas. The most successful Architect will have a working knowledge of residential and office design alongside the relevant guidance and specifications that underpins the successful delivery of projects. Being able to balance the needs of design, project management, and the commercial aspect of a project is imperative.
Architect Position Overview
- Work on a variety of projects with a value of £5million +
- Manage projects through the early-stage design concept and overseeing this through the delivery stage with technical support
- Liaise with key clients and be capable of discussing design/technical solutions with stakeholders
- Undertakes regular, inclusive communication within the studio team and with external stakeholders
Architect Position Requirements
- Be able to deliver projects to a high level of quality and client satisfaction
- Excellent Revit and IT presentation skills
- Excellent design skills and technical understanding gained on a range of projects
- Highly articulate and able to communicate to clients and colleagues at all levels
- Have an organised and efficient approach
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple, tight deadlines and work on various projects concurrently
- Highly organised and detail-orientated team-player
- Excellent graphic presentation, verbal and written communication skills
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with an ability to carry out design concept to realisation
- 2 years+ experience working as an ARB Registered Architect

- Competitive salary (£32,000 – £42,000 DOE)
